SAMARITAN'S PURSE *OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD *

 Hello Harvester!

 Our packing party is here! Well, nearly here . . . please join us on Sunday, November 9, at 3:00 pm in Rooms 117-118 and the Youth Room for Harvester's annual packing party. I hope to see you there!

This party requires a good deal of set-up, so if you want to give us a hand, we'll be at the church on Saturday afternoon at 12:00 pm. We need to get the tables moved and situated and the supplies brought out and set up in a way to make packing as easy as possible. We also need to fold new boxes and put the already-filled shoeboxes into cartons. What we don't get done on Saturday will have to be done before the party on Sunday, so a few of us will be back at church at 11:00 am to finalize everything, so if you can't help on Saturday, Sunday works too!

National Collection Week is November 17-24. Harvester is a local drop-off church and we'll be open 2 hours each day to receive boxes from the community. Thanks to those of you who have already signed up for a shift (or two or more), but we'll still need more hands to make this lighter work  I've reached out to American Legion Post 108 and to our Youth and Scout Troops to see if they want to help out too. The sign-up sheet is on the OCC board in the main hallway if you can help as well. Here are the dates and times we'll be open:

Monday, November 17: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Tuesday, November 18: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Wednesday, November 19: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Thursday, November 20: 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm

Friday, November 21: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Saturday, November 22: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm

Sunday, November 23: 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm

Monday, November 24: 8:00 am to 10:00 am

Monthly collections were put on pause as we prepared for both the Craft Fair and our Packing Party.
