The mission of Harvester is to invite people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ
The Vision of Harvester Community Church is to become a community of faith that:
Harvester has come a long way since 1995 when we began in temporary quarters at Denham Oaks Elementary School. Within six years, we built a permanent home at 2432 Collier Parkway, in Land O’ Lakes.
Our church is led by a team of dedicated pastors and lay leaders who are committed to serving our congregation and community. Meet our leadership team and learn more about their roles and responsibilities.
Harvester always strives to be Jesus Christ's earthly "hands and feet" for the people of greater Land O' Lakes - Lutz - Wesley Chapel.
About God...
God is the Creator and Lord of the universe – all that was, is, and ever will be. There is one true and living God, eternally existing in three co-equal persons — Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
About Salvation through Jesus Christ...
Salvation comes through believing and receiving Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, who was both fully God and fully human, lived a sinless life on earth and then gave his life for us by dying on the cross. His sacrifice pays the punishment for our sin and restores our broken relationship with God. After dying on the cross, Jesus rose from the dead, ascended to heaven, continues to live and reign, and will someday return to establish the Kingdom of God forever. This gift – God restoring our eternal relationship through the love and sacrifice of Jesus - is what we call the gift of God’s grace, a gift that we must receive to enjoy fellowship with God forever. God's saving grace — not our human effort — is the way to a God-filled life and eternity.
About the Holy Spirit and the Church...
The Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, draws people to Christ, enables people to believe, grows people in faith, and equips believers for service in the Church and world. The Holy Spirit is present in the Church, which is the community of believers who seek to follow Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Through the power and leadership of the Holy Spirit, the Church's role is to make and grow disciples of Jesus, as well as serve and bring hope to a broken and hurting world.
About The Bible...
The Bible is God's eternal Word to humanity. It was written by human authors under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. It is the source of truth, the basis of our beliefs, contains all we need to know about salvation, and is the authoritative rule and guide for our lives
About Humanity...
Humans are created in the image of God and created for relationship with God. But we are marred by an attitude of disobedience toward God called sin. This attitude separates humans from the relationship with God we were intended to enjoy.
We believe the Christian Church is the community of all true believers under the Lordship of Christ. We believe it is one, holy, apostolic and catholic. It is the redemptive fellowship in which the Word of God is preached by those divinely called, and the sacraments are duly administered according to Christ's own appointment. Under the discipline of the Holy Spirit the Church exists for the maintenance of worship, the edification of believers and the redemption of the world.
We believe the Lord's Supper is a representation of our redemption, a memorial of the sufferings and death of Christ, and a token of love and union which Christians have with Christ and with one another. Those who rightly, worthily and in faith eat the broken bread and drink the blessed cup partake of the body and blood of Christ in a spiritual manner until he comes.

We believe Baptism signifies entrance into the household of faith and is a symbol of repentance and inner cleansing from sin, a representation of the new birth in Christ Jesus and a mark of Christian discipleship.
We believe children are under the atonement of Christ and as heirs of the Kingdom of God are acceptable subjects for Christian Baptism. Children of believing parents through Baptism become the special responsibility of the Church. They should be nurtured and led to personal acceptance of Christ, and by profession of faith confirm their Baptism.
